Palmetto GBA Staff Augmentation & Medicare Training

When a Medicare benefits company - Palmetto GBA - needed to train hundreds of customer service representatives in a short amount of time, they called DESA. We jumped into 40-hour, 3-week training cycles, leading multiple classes of 30+ students. During 2006 alone, DESA's staff graduated more than 500 Certified Medicare Customer Service Representatives at Palmetto GBA.

DESA consultants provided:

  • Staff augmentation, including employee identification, interviews, selection and job training.
  • Lead multiple classes training more than 500 students in the complicated area of Medicare customer service.  
  • Managed the entire hiring and training process from start to finish, leaving Palmetto GBA with a newly installed, fully operational team that provides Medicare customer service assistance to residents state-wide in South Carolina.
