The CMP designation is awarded by the Convention Industry Council after the designee successfully completes and passes a written exam focused on the planning and management of meetings and events. 

Cathy has worked for DESA's conference and event management division for nearly two years, and is highly skilled in managing small and large scale conferences. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and is a part of multiple professional and civic affiliations.
