Part-Time Web & Video Production Specialist

 

Job Description

DESA, Inc. is seeking an innovative and technology savvy part-time (15-20 hrs per week) Web and Video Production Specialist. This individual must have extensive website development skills, in addition to shooting, creating and producing high-quality videos. This producer must combine good communications skills with technical knowledge. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Graphic design
• Designing, laying out and coding websites
• Creating, enhancing and/or maintaining websites
• Shooting, editing and producing videos
• Retaining cutting edge knowledge of trends, software and equipment
• Other tasks as assigned

 
Knowledge and Skills

Candidate must be adaptable to changing demands and working within tight deadlines. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in media arts, communications, broadcast journalism, film/television production or other related field is preferred. Prior experience in website design and video production is required. Applicant should be proficient in interactive web design concepts and have knowledge of popular programming languages (Flash and forms a must). Additionally, candidate must be capable of shooting, editing and producing videos.

 

Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience and professionalism.
